How I Got Started:

I got in to instructional design kind of by accident. Back in 2011, I had just graduated from college and I decided to work abroad. I took a teaching position in Thailand. After a year, my fellowship was complete, but I was not ready to go home. I wanted to stay in Thailand, so I moved into Bangkok where I took a job at a consulting firm. A big part of my job there was designing training programs for companies on topics like business English and leadership skills. I also started creating online courses. 

I quickly realized that I loved this work! Figuring out how to create materials that get people excited about learning new skills is a lot of fun. I also enjoy this work because I learn so much from every client I work with.
